Grocery Planner

You tell it what’s already in the kitchen and which stores are near you, and it builds a month of meals and the grocery list to match — arranged around the budget rather than in spite of it.

I built the first version because I wanted it. Planning a month of dinners is a small, boring, genuinely difficult problem, and most of the difficulty is that the answer depends on what you already own and what happens to be cheap this week where you actually shop.

It is the earliest of the things on this page. It works, and I use it. It isn’t finished.
